Burma jungle missions

Disciples making disciples.

At the Jungle Discipleship School we are disciples of Jesus who help build up the next generation of disciples. Your partnership keeps campus life and jungle training running so the gospel can move deeper inland.

Tax-deductible paths in the USA, Canada, and Europe via Kontakt Mission.

Life at JDS

What a week looks like.

Each week carries one theme. Monday to Friday, mornings are worship, Bible reading, and study of that week’s theme. Afternoons mix missions preparation, extracurriculars (language, computers, finance, art, music), camp work duties, PT, sports, and fun.

Year 1 is foundations — the core discipleship curriculum. Year 2 is optional: deeper discipleship, leadership, and building a Business as Mission or ministry plan. Most students are Burmese; a small international cohort studies alongside them.

The first JDS mission — Jesus and love was enough.

Jesus is Enough

The first-ever Jungle Discipleship School mission was just over a week long — boats, motorcycles, old friendships, and prayer with friends on the front lines. With no big budget and no institutional umbrella, the team carried one thing: Jesus and love. It was enough.
